Tim Guthrie’s film, BLAZE has been selected to be part of the 2012 Local Filmmakers Showcase. BLAZE will be part of a 114-minute program including 10 films chosen by this year’s curators, the Faint.

The Showcase will launch with a premiere screening and post-party in in the lobby of Film Streams on Friday, October 19 at 7:30 PM.
The Nebraska Arts Council announces the artists who will be featured in the Governor’s Residence Exhibition Program during the 2012/13 season. These contemporary Nebraska artists, who represent communities from across the state, were selected via an open competition and review panel which convened in late July.

Nebraska Governor’s Residence is located at 1425 “H” Street, in Lincoln. The residence is open for public tours on Thursdays from 1 to 4 pm.
